Treatment, Compassion & Hope
Today, Tomorrow & Always
Each year, millions of people experience difficulties with behavioral health. If these problems persist, they can affect relationships, performance at work or school or even the ability to complete everyday tasks and functions.
If you or a loved one is struggling and in need of behavioral health services, Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital will be opening in July 2018 to provide treatment, resources and support.
Through a partnership between Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Universal Health Services, we will provide inpatient and outpatient services for patients living with mental illness.
JOIN OUR TEAM
Comprehensive Inpatient Treatment
Opening in July 2018, we will offer a number of inpatient services for adolescents, adults and older adults with primary psychiatric disorders.
We will be the first facility in Lancaster County to offer inpatient behavioral health therapy for adolescents and a specialized women’s trauma program.
Dedicated to the Community We Serve
Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital will be the only freestanding psychiatric hospital in Lancaster County.
We will strive not only to provide excellent behavioral health services, but also to be a leader in the promotion of wellness, support the education of behavioral health professionals, and improve the Lancaster community’s understanding of mental health.
Our Values Drive Our Care
Members of each patient’s treatment team follow our core set of values, which are essential to our care and reflected in our practices. We treat each person who seeks our treatment with dignity and respect — from the non-stigmatizing, person-centered language we use to the trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy we practice.
We listen to each patient without judgment and want all to know that recovery is possible for every person in our care. There is hope for tomorrow.
